The Smile of a Child
This year our national project is The Smile of the Child (Το Χαμόγελο του Παιδιού). “The Smile” is a voluntary non-profit organization in Greece who support children who are victims of violence, poverty, are missing, or are in poor health. They do not only raise money, but provide services for prevention, intervention, and therapy, depending on the situation. The organization understands it is not enough to help victims, but to act preemptively as to prevent violence, sickness, negligence, or poverty from afflicting a child if possible. Working together with the Sons of Pericles, we hope to raise awareness for these children and support them in every way we can.

National Project Raffle
The Maids of Athena are hosting a raffle with the Sons of Pericles supporting our joint National Project, The Smile of a Child. Tickets are 1 for $20. First prize is $1,500 and second prize is $500. The winners will be drawn at Supreme Convention.
If you were given individual raffle tickets to see by the Grand Lodge, use our form to help us keep track of the tickets you sell. When you are done, send the form to moagrandtreasurer @gmail.com for further instruction.
Sponsorship Challenge
Chapters are challenged to seek out local sponsorships from businesses or individuals in support of our National Project. The chapter that collects the greatest sponsorship amount will win a prize at the end of the year. All sponsors will be placed on a banner that will be displayed at Supreme Convention.
